Pictures

Today we had Kalei's 18 month/Spring pictures taken. They turned out great. Kalei tried everything she could to aviod it though. She kept trying to get up, she didnt want to smile, I thought it was going to be a disaster. I will be sure to post them when they get back.

Shopping is fun.

Today we went shopping. We went to Target and Kohls. Of course I would think shopping was even more fun if I didnt spend all my money on Kalei. Today she got 3 pairs of shorts, 2 shirts, a bathsuit, and a pair of shoes. I got 2 t-shirts. I love spending money on her. Everything in the stores is so damn cute, who can resist.

18 Month Doctor Visit

Today Kalei went to the doctors office. Everything checked out well as always. He said she looks very healthy. I was worried because she wasnt talking but he said that could be because she gets eeverything she needs without having to talk. She is 27 lbs. 8 oz. and she is 32 inches tall.

The Backyardigans

I love the Backyardigans. They are the best way to keep Kalei quiet. She watches the videos over and over. She has four of them so far. They are actually pretty good because they use imagination so the characters can go on epic adevtures all over the world. The also feed kalei's love of music and dancing. Each episode features a different genre of music from hip hop to jazz to Irish folk music and everything in between. So to Uniqua, Austin, Tasha, Tyrone, and Pablo I say thank you, you guys are a life saver. Things can actually be accomplished around here again.

Welcome to my life!

Well here is an inside look for everyone on the day to day goings on with Kalei. As you know she has recently turned 18 months old. I cant believe it. I mean has this past year and a half flown by in anyone else's opinion. It seems like just yesterday I could sit for hours and just gaze into Kalei's eyes and watch her while she slept. Now she is bounding toddler. She loves her independance and she has endless energy. Trust me you would understand if you were up with her on some nights until after 11pm. She has even developed a favorite daily regimine which is as you could imagine centered around her getting exactly what she wants. She has taken over the house and the t.v. She wants what she wants when she wants and NO questions asked. She is changing everyday and I can only imagine what is store for me each tommorrow. I really cant beleive how much I love her and everything about my life that is her.
